Bellevue College women’s golf won the opening NWAC League Match, topping SW Oregon in thrilling fashion. The two-day event, hosted by Highline College, was held at The Home Course. The Bulldogs were trailing SW Oregon with just one hole to play as freshman Kari Peterson was the last one on the course and drained an eight-foot putt which won it for the ‘dogs.

BC’s Hadley McDonough won the individual title, winning by four strokes. McDonough went into the second round with a two-shot lead and quickly lost the lead on her second hole after a triple bogey. She would bounce back and battle Spokane’s Sydney Stenson down the stretch before pulling away with a four-stroke victory.
