Kitiona Powers Bellevue Women’s Soccer To Win

Bellevue College women’s soccer won a big game on the road topping host Whatcom 2-0. The Bulldogs relied on forward Oteta Kitiona. The sophomore fired off three shots on goal, scoring one in each half.

Lillian Johnston came up big in the box for Bellevue. She recorded the shutout by saving five Whatcom shots on goal. Bellevue managed only four shots on goal, but Kitiona found a way early at 13:33 and again at 68:52. Both goals were unassisted.

The win vaults Bellevue into second place at 5-1-2 ahead of Whatcom who sits in third place at 5-3-1. Bellevue is riding a three-game win streak and will travel north again this Sat. Oct. 18 for a 2:15 start at Skagit Valley.
