
Bellevue College men’s soccer lost 3-1 at Skagit Valley College today as the Bulldogs scored early, but managed only one shot on goal in the second half. The Cardinals were too aggressive on the offensive end, hammering BC goalkeeper all day long with eight shots on goal.
Hongfan Wei scored off a feed from Markus Winkler-Cook at 16:51, just moments after the Cardinals got on the board first. Skagit Valley would tack on another goal on an unassisted shot by Rory Hayes.
Down 2-1 at halftime, Bellevue had no answers in the second half. Loic Charles-Antoine fired off BC’s only shot 10 minutes into the half but was denied by Skagit ‘keeper Shu Kawajiri.
Bellevue is now 3-5-1 (5-5-1 overall) and wil host Shoreline this Wed. Oct. 22 at 2 p.m.
