After getting a scare with an upset loss to Spokane, Bellevue College volleyball bounced back to sweep host Highline 3-0 to earn the West Region’s second bid to the NWAC Championships.
After earning their way to the West Regional Championship this morning against Spokane, the Bulldogs found their backs up against the wall as the Sasquatch, the East Region fourth seed, beat the Bulldogs 3-1. In a loser out affair, BC came back to top the Thunderbirds of Highline, the West Region number one seed to earn a return trip back to the championship’s Elite Eight, which begins next week in Pasco. No other match details or statistics were reported all weekend.
The Bulldogs will take on Linn-Benton, the East Regional Championship winner at 5 p.m. on Fri. Nov. 21. Details for the tourney can be found here.
