Men’s Basketball Top Shoreline On Road

Bellevue College men’s basketball used a 44 point first half to cruise to an easy 84-63 win at Shoreline. The win runs the Bulldogs’ win streak to 17 games with the much-anticipated showdown for first place coming in less than a week vs. Skagit Valley.

The Bulldogs continued their dominance inside with 67% shooting with 18 of 27 field goals made while the Dolphins could not keep up with the perimeter game, shooting a dismal 3 for 15 from three point range, shooting only 34% overall.

BC Head Coach Marcus Fermon was able to utilize his depth early with the big lead and had five players scoring in double digits. Sawyer Cottrell led the way with 17 points while Isaiah White continued his near perfection work with four of five shooting and a perfect five for five from the line with four rebounds and 14 points. Max Mayo had 10 points while Caden Culver and Daniel Kabamba came off the bench for 14 and 10 points respectively.

The Bulldogs, now 4-0 in North Region play and 17-2 overall, travel to Bremerton to face Olympic this Wed. Jan. 21 at 5 PM.
