Bulldog Women Go Low On Day Two; Take Olympic League Match Title

Bellevue College women’s golf bested their next opponent by 16 strokes, cruising to a 24 stroke win at the Olympic League Match. Bellevue shot a two-day total of +70, well ahead of runner up Skagit Valley. After building a comfortable eight stroke lead after day one on Sun. Apr. 26, the ‘dogs rolled on day two with a team total of +33.

Bellevue finished 1-2-4 overall in the individual scoring as Hadley McDonough won medalist honors with rounds of 83-80. She topped Bellevue teammate Ava Guthrie who finished runner up with 83-84. Kari Petterson had her highest collegiate finish at fourth overall with rounds of 88-85.

The Bulldogs will tee it up next at the Skagit Valley Invitational on May 3-4 at Avalon GC in Burlington, WA.
