Bellevue College men’s soccer hosted Peninsula College yesterday and could not recover from a hot start by the Pirates, falling 4-1. The Pirates were able to jump ahead 3-0 after the first half which proved to be too much to overcome.
The Pirates wasted no time getting on the board with an early goal just 3:38 into the game then got two more goals within a two minute span with just under 10 minutes to go in the first half. The Pirates third goal came off a penalty kick with eight minutes remaining.
Peninsula tacked on the fourth goal at 54:02 before the Bulldogs finally got on the board on an Andres Moreno to Derek Remen connection at 58:17.
The Bulldogs are 0-1 in region play and 2-1 overall. They play at Shoreline this Sat. Sept. 12 with a 2:15 p.m. start.
