Bellevue College men’s soccer lost 4-1 to visiting Whatcom. Early goals sealed BC’s fate as the Orcas scored less than a minute into the game. The Orcas would then reel off three more goals in the next 30 minutes as Whatcom’s Aaron Diaz netted three consecutive solo goals to put Whatcom up 4-0 heading into halftime.
In the early moments of the second half, Bellevue’s Shaw Roberts broke the shutout on first possession on an assist by Derek Remen. Bellevue had two other golden opportunities to score on shots by Andres Moreno and Matthew Miller were stopped by Whatcom ‘keeper Mason Randolph.
Bellevue falls to 3-5-2 (5-5-2 overall) and host Everett this Sat. Oct. 24 at 2:15 p.m.
