Volleyball Loses In Five To Walla Walla

Host Walla Walla needed all five sets to defeat Bellevue last night, winning by scores of 25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 25-16, 16-14.

Bellevue used a balanced attack offensively with sophomores Marin Mackey and Meg Perry leading the way with 7 kills. Makenna Mosher added 6 while AJ Gueller, and freshmen Jeanice Gamez and Peytin Thompson each had 5. Lauren Wittmers had 15 assists and 16 digs.

Both teams gave several points to the oppositions at the service line as BC committed 8 service errors while the Warriors had 12.

Bellevue, now 4-3 on the season, wraps up their road trip with a 4:00 PM match today at Wenatchee Valley.
