Bellevue College men’s golf came close but fell just one stroke shy of the NWAC title, falling to NWAC champion Spokane at the NWAC Championships held May 18-19 at Apple Tree GC in Yakima.

The Bulldogs improved on day two by two strokes as BC’s Milo Stover, paired in the final grouping in the tourney, birdied the 18th, but was not enough as the Bulldogs simply fell victim to a hot Spokane club, who collectively had ten birdies on the back nine to seal the win.

Saum Sabetian finished off a stellar season for the Bulldogs shooting 78-72. Stover’s second round 76 was followed by Kai Lambro (77) and Matthew Davidson (78) to round out BC’s scoring for day two. Sabetian finished tied for fourth overall in the field of 36 in the individual standings while Stover finished sixth and Davidson ninth to give Bellevue three golfers finishing in the top ten.

The ‘dogs close out the 2024-25 season with three top returning golfers as they look forward to next fall.
