Bellevue College men’s soccer lost a tough defensive battle 2-0 to visiting Skagit Valley, as both teams got off four shots on goal apiece. Scoreless at halftime, Bellevue Bryan Davis just missed at the 58:07 mark. On the next possession, the Cardinals were able to find the back of the net at 59:41. With 15 minutes remaining, Skagit tacked on a second goal, making a BC comeback a tough task as the ‘dogs failed to get a shot off after Davis’ attempt early in the half.
Davis got two of Bellevue’s four shots on goal while Mason Duarte was the tough luck goalie in the defensive battle between the two North Region foes.
Bellevue is now 1-2 in region play and 3-2 overall. They travel to Shoreline this Wed. Sept. 24 for a noon kickoff.
