Women’s Golf Takes Third

Bellevue College women’s golf had a rough first day, setting themselves back 12 shots which they could not recover from at the Skagit Invitational. The two-day tourney, held at Avalon Golf Links in Burlington, WA, was won by SW Oregon, who shot a +106 for the two days. Bellevue finished third just behind Spokane, shooting +121.

Hadley McDonough finished second overall, three strokes behind the medalist, Kiah Holmes-Morrissey. Kari Petterson rebounded from an opening round 98 to a stellar 85; the low round of the tourney on day two. Kennedy Kimball finished in 14th place overall at +51 to round out Bellevue’s scoring.

The ‘dogs will have a week off to prepare for the NWAC Championships at Apple Tree GC in Yakima, WA on May 17-18.
