After leading through round one, the Bellevue Bulldogs women’s golf team hung onto their advantage on Monday to claim their sixth all-time title and third in the past five seasons at the 2026 NWAC Golf Championships at Apple Tree Golf Course.
Bellevue led by three strokes after day one action on Sunday, but that was over Spokane who eventually finished third. It was Skagit Valley that put on a furious rally on day two, coming to within four strokes of the Bulldogs after trailing by 10 after round one.
The Bulldogs showed off their overall depth as Kari Peterson took third, Baden Golfer of the year Hadley McDonough placed fourth and Ava Guthrie tied for fifth. The title for Bellevue is their third in the past five seasons after also winning in 2022 and 2023.
