Bellevue College men’s soccer stayed on course with their winning ways by defeating host Shoreline 4-1 on Sat. Sept. 12. After giving up an early goal just nine minutes into the game, Bellevue tied it back up on the very next possession on a James Cairns goal. Bellevue then struck again just six minutes later as Aiden Karkutly connected with Andres Moreno who scored BC’s second goal to put Bellevue up 2-1.
The scoring spree cooled down for the next 30 minutes in the first half before continuing for another 35 minutes into the second half. The near 70 minute span of defensive dominance was finally broken as Cairns struck again at 83:46 before Shaw Roberts put the stamp on the win with BC’s fourth and final goal at 87:19.
Bellevue (1-1 in North Region play, 3-1 overall) hosts Edmonds this Wed. Sept. 15 at 4:15 p.m.
