
Bellevue College women’s golf continued their roll as a team, winning the recent NWAC League Match with a two-day total of 489; fifty shots better than runner-up Olympic.
Bulldog freshman Lindsey Gullikson led the team with a 5-over par final round of 77 WA, finishing in a three-way tie for first-place overall with a 14-over par 158 (81-77). Gullikson carded two birdies, five bogeys, and one double bogey in her final round. Gullikson eventually lost in a playoff to Olympic’s Naydeen Martinez for medalist honors.
Kendra Meeker shot 79-83 to finish tied for fourth overall while Meg McMullen bounced back from an 88 on Sunday to finish 88-81 and a sixth place standing. Other scores for Bellevue were Dana Fox (90-87), Sam Saleba (92-88), and Laurie Shank (113-110).
Bellevue’s next match is at home this Sunday, May 3 – Monday, May 4 at Willows Run GC in Redmond (Sunday) and Glendale CC in Bellevue (Monday).
