Grades and Transcripts

Grades

College in the High School teachers follow the Bellevue College grading scale. BC uses a letter grading system to reflect student achievement. View the BC grading policy here. Letter grades factor into a student’s college grade point average (GPA). Grades awarded for college credit may be different from the grade a student is awarded by the high school. Yearlong class grades are an average of the two semester grades. A grade of Pass or Fail is not an option for students on a 501, 504, or IEP plan for the College in the High School Program.

Transcripts

Official BC transcripts can be ordered online from the Bellevue College website. Transcripts are sent via Parchment, a national service that handles academic record requests. New users need to create an account prior to making a request, and there is a fee for ordering official transcipts. You will need to provide your BC student identification number (SID) and the school or schools where you want your records sent.

  • Seniors, please note when ordering official transcripts, you will be asked when you want your transcripts sent. You have three choices: send now, hold for grades, or hold for degree. You need to select “hold for grades”, to ensure all grades have been posted. If you do not make that selection, you will have to order another copy and pay the fee again.

Unofficial. You can also view your grades and obtain an unofficial transcript for free through BC’s website.
