This book club is open to both faculty and classified staff and will be presented by faculty and staff with a background in labor organizing. In this era of AI and labor fights we are hosting a quarter-long book discussion of Blood in the Machine: The Origins of the Rebellion Against Big Tech by Brian Merchant. Come feel the solidarity and read a book that focuses on labor history past and asks what we do in this new age of AI as workers and human beings.
Feel free to bring your lunch! Registration is encouraged if you would like the schedule of discussion chapters. Drop-ins are welcome.
