Biography:

Leslie has taught business courses at BC for over two decades and has worked with scores of minority- and women-owned enterprises under the auspices of the UW Foster Consulting and Business Development Center. Leslie authored the textbook Personal Investing, coauthored Business Consulting in a Multicultural America, has poems and short stories in various literary publications, and produced a reading of her play Geomancer. She has a MBA from Columbia University, a MSW, and BFA from the University of British Columbia, and holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.

Leslie was selected as the Tenure Track Mentoring Lead in spring 2021. She is available this summer by appointment.

Interests include gardening, travel, doing yoga, and she loves to learn—like singing karaoke (badly) and playing musical instruments (also badly).
