Biography:

Stacy Woodruff is an Assistant Professor in the Healthcare Management & Leadership program. Stacy worked in the healthcare setting for over seven years as a medical auditor/compliance and clinical manager. She understands the nature of the medical field, from the profitability to the humility and compassion for patients.  Stacy is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion in her professional and personal life. She continues to help individuals navigate and understand the medical community and their rights. She is a member of the Washington State Health Information Management Association, American Health Information Management Association, and American Society of Public Administration. She strives to ensure students prepare for the industry as healthcare leaders and managers.  

Stacy earned her Bachelor’s in Business/Public Administration and a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership. She is earning her Ph.D. in Health Science with a concentration in Public Health.
