The Department of Interior Design offers the following two degree paths to assist students with their educational goals.
A two-year Associate in Arts in Interior Studies degree
Students without an Interior Design-related Associate or Bachelor Degree would need to start out in the AA program. Once students have received their AA Interior Studies degree (GPA of 2.0 or above), they will be admitted into the BAA program after they submit the online BAA Application with required fee, digital portfolio and proof of degree completion.
A two-year Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design degree
Students with an Associate of Arts degree or higher (or equivalent), from either BC or another regionally accredited institution in one of the following degree categories may be admitted into the BAA program after they complete the application requirements: Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or Industrial Design.
