Bellevue College Baseball Begins Fall Ball

Bellevue College baseball ended their first week of practice and enter week two this week with their opening fall scrimmage and scout day this Friday September 18. Scout day, which annually draws pro scouts from 10-20 organizations on average each year at Bellevue, will begin at 1:30 p.m. The scout day portion will feature hitters only. The pitchers will be featured in an 18-inning scrimmage against Tacoma beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Courter Field. As one of the few college programs in the country that does not have roster cuts, the spring roster has already been finalized and was the roster on the initial day of fall camp which began last week. The 2016 roster can be seen here. The Bulldogs’ six week fall session features Friday night scrimmages under the new lights at Courter Field against Tacoma (this Fri. Sept. 18), Edmonds (Fri. Sept. 25) and Pierce (Fri. Oct. 2). All start times are 4:00 p.m. The Bulldogs will then begin their annual fall blue-red world series intrasquads the following week. All parents of the 2016 team are invited to the free dinner for parents and players on opening night of the blue-red world series on October 9.  The entire fall schedule can be seen here.
