Red Devils struggle with Bellevue

Through the first 40 minutes of Saturday’s match with Bellevue, the Lower Columbia College Red Devils were aggressive and controlled the ball. But Bellevue netted goals in the 40th and 44th minutes to take a 3-1 lead at the break en route to a 7-1 win in women’s soccer.


BC’s Jaramillo named NWAC women’s soccer player of the week

Kameron Jaramillo is one of the pillars of the Bulldogs’ defense that has only allowed 4 goals in 6 matches in her role as center back. Last week, Jaramillo scored against the top-ranked and defending NWAC champions, Highline College, in a 2-2 tie.


BC’s Rowell named NWAC volleyball player of the week

BC sophomore middle hitter Carlee Rowell was named the Under Armour NWAC volleyball player of the week, the conference announced Sept. 12. Rowell had 76 kills on a 37.2% hitting efficiency with 17 blocks (15 solo) and 15 aces in 26 sets last week.


Bellevue College baseball to host NWAC Showcase

Bellevue College baseball will host the NWAC Showcase on Saturday, Sept. 22. The one-day event will begin at approximately 8:45 a.m. at Courter Field on the BC campus. The event features the top recruitable prospects for both professional scouts and four-year college coaches.


Former BC standout Sampson continues injury comeback with Texas Rangers

Though former Bulldog Adrian Sampson ended up the hard-luck loser in a 1-0 loss to the Los Angeles Angels, he took significant steps towards putting himself into the conversation for one of the many unclaimed spots in the 2019 Rangers rotation. The first was to actually make it to the mound.


BC softball team scores big with community service

The Bellevue College softball team finished up its Week of Service, putting in over 200 combined hours to help the local community, including the Food Bank Farm, Team Survivor Northwest and the Greenwood Senior Center.
