Austin Shenton, an all-NWAC infielder on the 2017 squad was named to the Seattle Mariners roster for the abbreviated 2020 Major League Baseball season. The BC Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet planned for October 2020 has been postponed until the Spring of 2021, where we will induct both the classes of 2020 and 2021. Both classes will be announced in Fall 2020. Nominations are still being accepted at this time.
Campbell baseball senior Grant Harris has been named to the 2020 Big South Conference All-Academic Team. Harris joined the Campbell baseball program in 2018 as a transfer from Bellevue College. Through two full years as a Camel, Harris has maintained a near perfect 4.0 GPA as he pursues his degree in sport management from Campbell.
Clarkston basketball player, Jalena Henry, has signed to play ball at the next level. Henry signed with Bellevue College on the west side of the state. The 5-11 Bantam post was a force in her senior season. She averaged a team high six rebounds per game and scored a little over seven points per contest.
A Twin Falls senior is headed up to Washington state to continue her basketball career. McKayla Rodriguez signed with Bellevue College over the weekend. Rodriguez earned Great Basin Ten all-conference honorable mention honors this season, after helping the Bruins finish with a 15-7 record.
La Conner standout Justine Benson will play volleyball for Bellevue College. The senior setter, a multisport star at La Conner, helped boost the Braves to back-to-back Class 2B state volleyball titles in her junior and senior seasons.
Bellevue College is pleased to announce the signings of 2019-20 Bulldog sophomores to play at the next level. Several other sophomores are still considering offers for next season. Their status will be updated in the coming weeks.

Bellevue College softball opened up league play with a convincing sweep over visiting Pierce, 12-4 and 7-1. The Bulldog bats were consistently hot all day, pounding out 22 hits collectively. With much disappointment, in conjunction with both the Linn Benton Community College and Clackamas Community College administrative teams, it has been decided to cancel the NWAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament. The Bellevue women’s team had been scheduled to play Lane on Thursday.
