Lisette Thurlkill holds a Licensed Metal Health Counselor associate license in Washington State and is currently working towards her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. She has worked with children, young adults, and families navigating personal identities, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or relational challenges and seeking a safe, culturally compassionate space for growth. She believes that therapy should be a space where a student’s unique story can be heard and understood and is committed to helping students reach their personal and academic goals.
Using a person-centered approach, she strives to provide a space that can address each student’s unique experiences. By linking mental health to environment, culture, and history, she hopes to provide flexible, empirical support to help you overcome obstacles and thrive. The modalities she uses include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), remaining focused on addressing each student’s unique experiences.
Outside of the counseling center, she loves to craft, read fantasy, teach skiing, and attend Seattle Sounders or Reign games!
