Ana Bravo – Fluent Spanish

Biography:

Ana Bravo was born and raised in Mexico and, a few years after graduating from college, she moved to Seattle. She earned a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences from Bastyr University / Leadership Institute of Seattle, with a focus on Systems Counseling. She completed a supervised internship and externship at Youth Eastside Services, working as a school-based counselor and a youth and family counselor in a multicultural community. She later worked as a private practitioner and also provided family preservation and crisis services through Working Choices Inc. Her approach to counseling is influenced by existential and cognitive-behavioral therapy but remains mainly focused on a person’s self-discovery, and his/her role and experience in relationships  and community systems.
