Gabi Lisý is a master’s student in the Counseling and Health Psychology program at Bastyr University. She has a medical degree with a focus on psychiatry and spent three years working in a community hospital in Prague, gaining experience through working with diverse populations.
Gabi’s counseling style is based on a person-centered approach, recognizing the expertise of a client and the importance of a collaborative therapeutic alliance. She draws from mindfulness practices to help alleviate immediate stress and behavioral theory to help clients live a life according to their values while acknowledging the systemic impact. Gabi provides trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, get together with friends, and play video games.
