Men Can Stop Rape

Men Can Stop Rape (MCSR) is a national Washington, DC based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Since our inception in 1997, MCSR has led the call to redefine masculinity and male strength as part of preventing men’s violence against women.

National Center for Victims of Crime

A nonprofit organization that advocates for victims’ rights, trains professionals who work with victims, and serves as a trusted source of information on victims’ issues. After more than 25 years, we remain the most comprehensive national resource committed to advancing victims’ rights and helping victims of crime rebuild their lives.

RAINN – Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network

The nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE and online.rainn.org) in partnership with more than 1,100 local rape crisis centers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.

SAFER – Students Active For Ending Rape

Started by Columbia University students in 2000, Students Active for Ending Rape (SAFER) is the only organization that fights sexual violence and rape culture by empowering student-led campaigns to reform college sexual assault policies.

SCESA – National Organization of Sisters of Color Ending Sexual Assault

An advocacy organization of Women of Color dedicated to working with our communities to create a just society in which all Women of Color are able to live healthy lives free of violence. Our purpose is to give voice and develop action strategies that incorporate and address the experiences of Women of Color and Communities of Color.

Sexual Violence Law Center

Helping sexual assault survivors rebuild their lives by protecting their privacy, safety and civil rights through legal advocacy and public education. The Sexual Violence Law Center (SVLC) was founded in 2008 by Catherine Carroll & Kelly O’Connell, former lawyers with the WA Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs. Based in Seattle, Washington, SVLC was a 501(c)3 charitable not for profit organization with extensive experience working to improve the legal response to survivors of sexual violence. In 2014, SLVC became a program of the YWCA of Seattle | King | Snohomish.

Surviving In Numbers

Online, Surviving in Numbers posts stories from survivors of many ages and backgrounds — not just survivors who’ve experienced violence on campus. Offline, Surviving in Numbers develops & implements prevention curriculum for high schoolers.

A national not-for-profit organization that decreases the prevalence of sexual violence by assisting survivors, empowering activists, and supporting institutions.

Tribal Court Clearinghouse

The Tribal Court Clearinghouse is a comprehensive website established in June 1997 to serve as a resource for American Indian and Alaska Native Nations, American Indian and Alaska Native people, tribal justice systems, victims services providers, tribal service providers, and others involved in the improvement of justice in Indian country.

Focused on advocacy, education and collaboration, the Clery Center for Security On Campus (formerly Security On Campus, Inc.) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3)  organization dedicated to safe campus communities nationwide.

National Alliance to End Sexual Violence

The National Alliance to End Sexual Violence educates the policy community about federal laws, legislation and appropriations impacting the fight to end sexual violence. Its team of experts and advocates, donating time away from their state and local groups, publish written analysis, track legislation, provide media interviews, and advise members of Congress and the executive branch.

NNEDV’s (National Network to End Domestic Violence) Safety Net Project focuses on the intersection of technology and intimate partner abuse and works to address how it impacts the safety, privacy, accessibility, and civil rights of victims.
