Welcome to the GBV Prevention!
At Bellevue College, the GBV Prevention Program is now housed within Student Affairs! The program is here today because of many students, staff, and faculty who have worked hard to secure funding from the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Campus Grant from the Department of Justice, which was created by Congress in recognition of the unique issues and challenges that colleges and universities face. This grant is under the purview of the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW). The Campus Program grant provides funds to be used in preventing and responding to domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking (DVSAS) on campus. In 2024, the program received permanent funding from the college to continue after the grant ends.
