What is the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention Office?
Funded and mandated by the Campus Program, the GBVP Office is committed to ending gender-based violence on our campus and in our community. In an effort to create a campus culture that is safe, inclusive, and welcoming, the GBV Prevention Office provides prevention education, training, and tools for faculty, staff and students, and response services, information, and resources, to BC community members who have been affected dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Learn more about our program on our About Us page.
The Campus Program grant was created by Congress in recognition of the unique issues and challenges that colleges and universities face in preventing and responding to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. This grant is under the purview of the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW).
The GBVP office is not an emergency response group. If you are in imminent danger, please call 911.
