Gayle Colston Barge, Ed.D. is the Chief Development, Marketing and Communications Officer for Bellevue College and serves as Vice President of Institutional Advancement.
Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement
Laura provides direct support to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement in a combination of areas such as budget, records and office management, as well as administrative support for the entire IA division, including the BC Foundation.
Director of Marketing and Community Development
Katherine provides leadership and supervision for all marketing and communications outreach, and develop initiatives to engage the community in campus life.
Associate Director of Communications
Nicole is responsible for telling the BC story, working with media and developing communication strategies. She serves as the college’s spokesperson on college-wide concerns, and manages BC’s digital presence and social media platforms.
Publications Manager, Community & College Relations
Sharon is the editor, writer and project manager for BC’s major publications, including the course catalog and quarterly schedules, BC Facts at a Glance booklet, Student Handbook, and other special assignments as needed.
Lisa manages the art direction, design, production and management of our print and digital projects.
Walter assists the marketing team in communicating all the great things happening here at Bellevue College from social media posts to eNewsletters and photography.
Jim oversees the content on the BC website and assists departmental web managers with production and maintenance of their respective sites.
Rebecca manages the Bellevue College Foundation. She is responsible for overseeing development and fundraising activities as well as awarding scholarships, grants, and programmatic support.
Director of Foundation Finance and Planned Giving
Paul provides fiscal oversight to ensure accurate financial records, strong internal controls, prudent investment strategies, compliance with IRS and Washington State requirements and with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for not-for-profit organizations, and also works with our auditors. He supports donors in planned giving, with endowments and with other detail-driven donations.
Director of Development
Mareth provides strategic direction to the Foundation’s philanthropic initiatives and is responsible for leading and expanding the development program of the Bellevue College Foundation.
Associate Director of Development
Aimee manages the efforts of the annual giving campaign, as well as supports the Foundation’s participation in the growth of the BC Alumni Association.
Assistant Director of Development
Taryn coordinates Foundation events including the annual luncheon, Donor & Scholar Reception, and BC Quarterlies. In addition, she manages Foundation communications including the annual report, website and social media.
Scholarship & Programs Manager
Lauren provides administrative management for BC Foundation scholarships and faculty/staff program activities. Additionally, she manages program awards including awarding internal grants and annual employee recognition.
