About the Challenge Course
Aside from having a great time, your groups will focus on group communication, problem solving, and team dynamic. Challenge courses often bring about a sense of shared accomplishment and improved team dynamics that leave groups feeling more connected in just a few short hours.
The average challenge course session is between 1-2 hours depending on the size of your group and your desired learning outcomes. Allowing ample time will allow for better results. Larger groups can be split up and complete challenges on the course at the same time.
Facilitators work with instructors to develop activities and debriefing topics that meet event and course outcomes and objectives. Examples include: sense of self, asking for help, outdoor connection, team creation, diversity, overcoming obstacles, communication expectations, and establishing trust.
We host faculty introduction sessions through the Faculty Commons almost quarterly. This is a chance to be a participant on the course and better understand how it can be an empowering and useful tool for your classes.
Pricing is based on group size and length of event. A group of 17 or less is $150 per hour. Cost includes all instruction, facilitation, and course upkeep.
We work around schedules to accommodate all groups requests. To request a time, please complete the following form. Low Ropes Challenge Course Request Form.
