The RISE MakerSpace is free and open to all BC students. We are located in Room B237.

Our Core Technologies

The Arts & Crafts section of the MakerSpace.

Arts and Crafts

You can work with Silhouette Cameo 5; Leatherworking kits, Jewelry working supplies; Coloring, painting, paper crafts; and hot glue guns.

Sewing and Textile Arts

We have Sewing Machines (from Singer, Brother, and Juki); an Embroidery Machine; Grommets and a Grommet Press; Fabrics (limited); Crocheting/Knitting Tools and Supplies; Assorted Sewing Patterns and 
Dress forms.

Design and Engineering

Come use our 3D printers (Bambu P1S (2), Bambu P1s with AMS, Prusa Mini); Resin printer (Phrozen Sonic Mighty 12k); Laser cutter (Glowforge Pro); and Desktop CNC (Inventables Carvey CNC).

An Arduino, Raspberry Pi, soldering station, and a heatgun are available.

We have several power tools, include a Wen Drill Press; Wen Scroll Saw, an orbital Sander, dremel, 2 Power Drills, and a Dewalt Cordless Vacuum.
