Students will practice all four language skills: listening, speaking, writing, and reading; culture is also incorporated as a pivotal part of the conversation for in-context new grammar and vocabulary use while awakening interest and furthering the understanding of the Italian culture. Culture is, indeed, an integral part of learning a foreign language, so you are expected to keep an open mind about it and embrace it. You may travel to Italy in the future.
This course exposes students to a communicative approach to language acquisition with high-frequency vocabulary words and grammatical patterns used as tools for improving language comprehension and production.
