M. Renatta Fernández

Adjunct Spanish Instructor

I was born and raised in Mexico City. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City, Mexico. I worked in educational services at the “Casa-Estudio Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo” and worked as a translator for National Geographic (en Español) in Mexico City.  I began my teaching career at Bellevue College in 2006. I love teaching, and especially enjoy creating the right learning atmosphere to prepare my students to use their Spanish in the real world.

I live with my family in Seattle. I am a passionate traveler, and enjoy cooking and fiestas of course!
