In consultation with the RAC and the NWAC Softball Committee Chair Cassie Belmodis, the NWAC Softball Tournament for this weekend (March 6-8) has been cancelled. The City of Lacey has cancelled major crowd activities in their county.

Learning how to close out close games helped propel the Bellevue College women’s basketball team back to the post-season. The Bulldogs, who tied for second in the North Region, will face Lane in the Sweet 16 of the NWAC women’s basketball championships on Thursday.

Bellevue College baseball extended their win streak to six games before finally having it snapped this weekend, as the Bulldogs took three games of the four-game set at Pierce. Bellevue College softball continued their pre-season play this weekend with a doubleheader split with visiting SW Oregon. The Bulldogs won the opener 6-4 before falling in a wild 15-13 game in the nightcap.
