BC Women Topple Top-Ranked Lane En Route To Pierce Tourney Title

Led by tournament MVP Brenda Akoto, the BC women’s basketball team posted three consecutive victories over the weekend to win the Pierce Tournament at Lakewood, Wash., including a 57-44 upset of top-ranked and previously unbeaten Lane in the semifinals.

Lawrence Named North Region Coach of the Year

Bellevue College volleyball coach Jocelyn Lawrence has been named NWAC North Region Coach of the Year and Bulldogs players Audrey Saelens and Kendle Valade-Nunez earned first team all-region honors. Sophomore Shea O’Brien and freshman Averi Dyer were named to the North Region second team.



Mansfield Exudes Positive Approach on the Links

Mercer Island 2015 graduate Will Mansfield, who is in his sophomore season with the Bellevue College Bulldogs men’s golf team, said his two most prolific skills on the links consist of accuracy off the tee and precision on the greens.


BC to Host Men’s and Women’s Basketball Jamboree

Basketball fans are invited to the annual Bellevue preseason scrimmage Jamboree, Friday, Nov. 11 at Bellevue College, featuring teams from the Northwest Athletic Conference. The all-day event begins at 10 a.m. with seven men’s teams and eight women’s teams participating.
