Six players who helped the Bulldogs to 32-13 overall record heading into the NWAC Softball Championships and a third-place finish in the North Region were named first-team all-region. The Bulldogs also placed three players on the second team.

On Tuesday, April 24, the Edmonds College softball team hosted Bellevue College in a region doubleheader as both teams sported pink and recognized and raised awareness for those battling cancer.

After a home doubleheader against Everett on Friday, April 28, the Bulldogs hosted an impromptu on-the-field session for a group of international students who were visiting Robinswood Park and had stopped to watch the games. The team spent some time answering questions about the sport and even took a moment to “pitch” to some inquiring hitters!

On and off the diamond, the Bellevue College softball team stepped up to the plate to participate in a pair of community service events in the past week, planting seeds for eventual harvest to benefit area food banks, and the Swinging for a Cure” softball doubleheader.
