Goals Help BC Recruit Sykora Find Life Direction

Joseph Charter School basketball star Alexis Sykora just had a couple of her dreams come true: Continuing her basketball career while attending college while getting selected to 1st-team all-state at the post position. She eventually chose Bellevue College in Washington state.



Bellevue Next Obstacle for No. 1 Umpqua

The Riverhawks have been waiting for this opportunity since the end of last season when then-No. 1-ranked Umpqua lost to 63-58 to Spokane in the semifinals. The No. 1 Riverhawks (30-1) are back in the Final Four.Umpqua meets No. 7 Bellevue (22-8) at 6 p.m. Saturday in a semifinal contest.
