Bellevue College Women’s Tennis Releases Schedule

Rixing in Action

Bellevue’s eight-time NWAACC women’s Tennis Champion team begins their 2014 season in early March with a grueling schedule that features just as many 4-year college opponents as 2-year NWAACC teams. Bellevue will play Pacific Lutheran University, Willamette, Whitman, Linfield, Puget Sound, and Lewis-Clark State College in addition to their NWAACC opponents. Sophomore Jullie Le of the BC Women’s Tennis team was recognized for the All Academic Sports Team for Spring Quarter 2013. Rixing Xu was named the Baden Player of the Year also for women's tennis in the NWAACC.

For the first time in eight seasons, the Bellevue women’s tennis team did not bring home the championship trophy as the Bulldogs finished the season in second place at the NWAACC Tennis Championships held in Spokane the weekend of May 10-11. Bellevue Women’s Tennis

The Bellevue College women’s tennis team hosted two matches the weekend of April 13 and 14, and went 1-1 in league play. Women’s Tennis Off to Great Start

Bellevue’s women’s tennis team had great results at the Spring Invitational in Stanwood over the weekend of March 9 and 10. First-year players Rixing Xu and Sadie Dedon both made it to the semi-finals and ended up playing against each other, with Xu winning 6-1, 6-0.
