HSEWI at Discovery Day

Discovery Day will be held on Saturday March 7th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Join us for Discovery Day from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026 and discover how Bellevue College can be the setting of your next chapter. Tour campus, attend information sessions, and learn about admissions and financial aid. Our diverse range of programs are designed to pave career pathways in thriving industries or to follow your interests.

Come discover the Health Sciences, Education and Wellness Pathways at Bellevue College during Discovery Day at the Health Sciences, Education, and Wellness Institute (HSEWI) Open House! This Open House is a chance for the community to explore our spaces, meet our faculty, learn about the innovative programs and hands-on learning in the Health Sciences, Education, and Wellness Institute (HSEWI).

Drop in at any time during BC Discovery Day as we will have opportunities available all day as well as scheduled sessions and demos. A full schedule of activities is provided below:

Open Throughout the Day

  • T Building
  • Bone Scans completed by RN-BSN Students (T315)
  • Student HPM Hub, 2nd Floor of T Building
  • Open Lab Spaces
    • Nursing Lab Space (T315)
    • Nursing Simulation Space (T303-307)
    • Ultrasound Lab (T213)
    • X-Ray Lab (T214)
    • Neurodiagnostic Technology Lab (T319)

Scheduled Sessions/Demos

There will be interactive demos and simulations and activities led by our faculty and students. Registration is not needed for these sessions/demos. Full schedule provided below:

Watch a live demonstration of radiation therapy using the college’s 3D VERT (Virtual Environment Radiation Therapy) system. Note: This is not an open session, no entry after the start of each session.

  • 10:30am – 11:00am
  • 11:30am – 12:00pm
  • 1:00pm – 1:30pm

Watch a birthing simulation led by our faculty, staff and nursing students. *Please be aware this is a realistic experience, viewer discretion is advised.*

  • 11:00am – 11:30am
  • 12:00pm – 12:30pm

Participate in a live demonstration of an EEG – Electroencephalogram which measures and records the electrical activity of your brain. Note: This is not an open session, no entry after the start of each session.
