Each of our Programs in the Health Sciences, Education and Wellness Institute handles advising differently. Please see the specific Program(s) site for more detailed advising information.
Health Sciences
Most of our programs hold information sessions specific to their program and are often required prior to meeting with an advisor.
Education
Are you interested in seeking a career in the Early Learning and Teacher Education Program? To get started, you need to attend a one-on-one advising session.
Wellness
We are a campus wide health and wellness program focused on providing classes, activities, and information promoting the physical, psychosocial and environmental components of health.
HSEWI Writing Resources
Contrary to what you may think, writing is not an innate ability or talent; it is a learned skill. And like any other skill, it must be studied and practiced. These services are here to support you in your writing journey.
Background Checks
Many professions require background checks. If you are planning to enroll in one of our health or education programs, you should know that our college requires you to obtain national background checks at specific points in the course of your program.
Immunizations
Health sciences programs also require immunizations. Again, these are to some extent specific to each program, and the information below only provides an overview.
International Students
Requirement for international students Social Security Number (SSN) is required for clinical. Please contact the International Student Programs to obtain the information.
