Our Mission
To foster the successful completion of our diverse students’ educational goals, the Health Sciences, Education & Wellness Institute advances life-long wellness, learning, teaching, and service excellence. The Institute provides a wide variety of accessible, rigorous, and engaging professional/technical courses, programs, and credentials that are responsive to individual, institutional, and community needs, prospects, and opportunities.

Our Institute is made up of 16 unique programs focused on providing excellent education and training for many professions in healthcare, education, wellness.
Facilities & Services
T Building Lockers
There are a total of 46 lockers available, on the second and third floors of the T Building. Students enrolled in a Health Sciences, Education and Wellness Institute program have the opportunity to enter a lottery to gain access to a locker for use during the upcoming quarter. Learn more.
HSEWI Writing Resources
HSEWI students have access to free writing-coaching services
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is available for students, faculty, staff, and community members enrolled in PE 110, 111, 112, or ADFIT 010, 020.
Nursing Skills Lab
The Nursing Skills Lab is a learning lab just for nursing students. You will spend time in the lab each quarter, building your skill set and testing your knowledge.
Wellness Center
On the BC Main Campus, we’re proud to offer Wellness Center facilities which enrich the emotional, environmental, occupational, spiritual, intellectual, social and physical well being of students, staff, faculty and the community at large.
Clinics and Hospitals
Many of our Health Sciences programs are conducted in both classrooms at Bellevue College, as well as in hospitals, clinics and labs throughout the local regional area.
