We are currently hiring students that receive work study funding for our Student Assistant role. The primary goal of this position is to aid and support the Health Sciences, Education & Wellness Institute (HSEWI). The HSEWI Student Assistant will assist in a variety of office and customer service tasks such as answering phones, greeting and assisting customers, making copies, filing, delivery of documents to other offices on campus, data entry using spreadsheet software, and other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be reliable, responsible, possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Dependable
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Microsoft Suite experience
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Work Hours: Work hours will typically fall between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. Work schedule will depend on office needs, the number of hours you can work per week based on your quarterly work study funding, and the staffing schedule of our front desk.
