University of Washington Seattle International Transfer Admission Seminar by Sarah Dawson, UW International Admissions Counselor

UW Seattle admits international students once a year only. In addition to the general international application requirements, deadline, etc., the UW Admission Counselor will talk about:

• How does UW treat Fs, Ws, and repeated courses on transcript?
• How does UW treat grades and/or length a student spent in the intensive ESL program?
• What does “major ready” mean?  What can a student do to increase their chance of being admitted?
• When does UW send out the acceptance/rejection notification to students?

UW Seattle Fall 2025 transfer application deadline is Feb. 15, ’25.
