OLS Alumni Lands Dream Career with Union Pacific Railroad

You may remember us sharing the awesome news that 2019 OLS Alumni Chris earned his Railroad Conductor Certificate last summer. We are pleased to share that Chris is now a Train Crew employee for Union Pacific Railroad!

We recently caught up with him for a video interview, and he shared the great news with us and how OLS helped him obtain his dream career. Working for the railroad has been a lifelong dream for Chris, and we are so thrilled for him.

Occupational & Life Skills (OLS) is an associate degree program for adults with learning disabilities. In our uniquely supportive skills-based program, students apply academic knowledge through community activities, service learning, and social experiences.
