Branches of Government – Cabinet Partner Project

Students in the OLS Bellevue College Citizenship course had blast this quarter with an activity learning about government cabinets.

The students started by learning about the different cabinets that make up the government. They partnered up into groups of two to three, and they were secretly given one of the cabinets. The groups worked together to create a visual representation of the cabinet with the goal of the other students being able to identify correctly it.

Each group’s visuals were then posted at the front of the classroom. All students guessed which visual matched which cabinet. The students had so much fun figuring out the best way to represent their cabinet and watching others try to guess.
