Seattle Mariners prospect Austin Shenton never could have predicted his college baseball three-year, cross-country path to pro ball. The former BC standout traveled nearly 7,000 miles to play his first game in the Mariners’ organization 60 miles from where he grew up in Bellingham.

Parker Manalo, who played the past two seasons for the Bellevue College Bulldogs men’s basketball team, signed a letter of intent in early June to continue his hoops career with the Northwest University Eagles college basketball program in Kirkland.
