BC softball team scores big with community service

The Bellevue College softball team finished up its Week of Service, putting in over 200 combined hours to help the local community, including the Food Bank Farm, Team Survivor Northwest and the Greenwood Senior Center.


BC’s Fusco to play softball at MSU Billings

BC catcher-outfielder Michelle Fusco, who hit .309 for the Bulldogs last season, has signed to play softball at Montana State University Billings. The Yellowjackets compete in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.


Bulldogs Win Two at NWAC Softball Championships

Bellevue College posted a pair of victories at the rain-delayed NWAC Softball Championships, but saw its hopes of advancing end when second-seeded Douglas overcame a six-run deficit and rallied for an 11-9 victory on Sunday.


Six Bulldogs Named First-Team NWAC All-Region in Softball

Six players who helped the Bulldogs to 32-13 overall record heading into the NWAC Softball Championships and a third-place finish in the North Region were named first-team all-region. The Bulldogs also placed three players on the second team.


Edmonds and Bellevue Softball “Swing for the Cure”

On Tuesday, April 24, the Edmonds College softball team hosted Bellevue College in a region doubleheader as both teams sported pink and recognized and raised awareness for those battling cancer.


Softball Rivals Pitch in for Community Service

Bellevue College softball and Edmonds Community College softball, rivals on the field, joined forces off the field on Sept. 10 to volunteer for the Women of Wonder 5k and 10k run around Green Lake Park in Seattle.

BC Softball Builds International Relations

After a home doubleheader against Everett on Friday, April 28, the Bulldogs hosted an impromptu on-the-field session for a group of international students who were visiting Robinswood Park and had stopped to watch the games. The team spent some time answering questions about the sport and even took a moment to “pitch” to some inquiring hitters!
