Physical and mental wellness is vital to sustaining positive and stable practices for life! With our Alcohol/Drug Counseling and Health and Physical Education programs at Bellevue College you can help others to obtain this stability. With these programs we hope to encourage enrichment in the lives of others through promoting campus wide health and wellness practices, as well as through helping others to understand addiction and how it affects individuals, families, and society.
Our program provides the knowledge, skills, attitudes and training required for counseling in the field of chemical dependency intervention, prevention and treatment.
We are a campus wide health and wellness program focused on providing classes, activities, and information promoting the physical, psychosocial and environmental components of health.
The Health Promotion and Management BAS degree program will prepare graduates to work proactively in prevention of chronic disease within the wider community. By integrating varying competencies, graduates gain a versatility and focus not typically found in conventional Healthcare Management or Public Health programs.
Beginning fall quarter 2013, the Bellevue College Fire Science program will no longer be accepting new students. For a variety of reasons, the program is no longer able to continue to offer courses toward the completion of an AA degree in Fire Science or Fire Officer, Fire Prevention or Fire Investigation Certificates of Completion.
