BC Student Composers Score Reading with Florestan Chamber Music

Join us as Florestan Chamber Music presents a public reading of new works by Bellevue College student composers. Created during the ensemble’s residency, these pieces come to life as students hear their music for the first time and collaborate directly with the performers. This session provides a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process before the formal score presentation later today.
Bellevue College Student Composers Score Presentations & Pre-Concert Discussion with Florestan Chamber Music

Building on the day’s open score reading, Florestan Chamber Music presents new works by Bellevue College student composers in a concert setting. This event also includes a pre-concert discussion with the ensemble moderated by Dr. Brian Cobb.
Florestan Chamber Music in Concert

To conclude their two-day residency at Bellevue College, Florestan Chamber Music will present an evening concert of mixed configurations of music for violin, cello, and piano. The program features Antonín Dvorak’s “Silent Woods“, Maurice Ravel’s Sonata for Violin and Cello, M.73, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Romance No. 1 in G Major, op.40, & Jospeh Haydn’s Piano Trio No. 39 in G Major, Hob. XV/25.
Florestan Chamber Music features Lauren Roth-Gómez (violin), Ruth Marshall (cello), and Garret Ross (piano).
