Positive Discipline, Discovery Science Lab & More

Our Positive Discipline class is for parents of children aged 1-12 and covers foundational parenting principles, practical tools and tips to address misbehavior. It meets for five Wednesday evenings at 7:00-9:00 p.m. and is led by Kristin Nasman, M.Ed. and certified Positive Discipline trainer.  Even if you have taken this class before, it’s great to have a refresher and relearn principles that apply to your current stage of parenting.

If you have a child between the ages of 5 to 8, join us this fall for Discovery Science Lab, a science enrichment class that meets at Robinswood Park in Bellevue, every Wednesday from 3 – 5 pm. Kids get to explore science through hands-on experiments, engineering projects, arts and crafts, stories and songs. We talk about Northwest habitats, animals and plants; chemistry; geology, biology and more. Kids have tons of fun while learning to think like a scientist. Parents work in the classroom once per month and attend a monthly parent education session where they learn about child development and talk about parenting challenges.
